Not much going on lately. Mainly been working.

Hmmm... let's see. Started to sign up for NetFlix, but never finished.

Started to order Hero, but never finished.

The local guy on eBay who was selling the snowmobile, and someone did Buy it Now, relisted it. I didn't notice until 12 hours before the auction ended. So, didn't get it. Since it's local, I would have preferred to go see it first. Maybe the latest buyer will also be a deadbeat and I'll have another shot. Doesn't have RER, so I'm not too upset.. since I'd like reverse.

Finally got all the Fall decorations down.

At night I hear barking, but can't tell if it's dogs or coyotes. I don't hear howling, which you can always tell the difference.

Got a letter from Kyla's school mentioning "5 unexcused abscenses" and how they can be "detrimental to her academic future." Somewhere in the letter it also called her "Aurora". Kinda pissed us off. She has had 0 unexcused abscences, and she completed all homework sent with her on vacation. She could miss two months of school and not fall behind. Plus, her name isn't "Auroroa". Suzy called and left a message for the principal. She'll probably call back, and get me to talk to. Lucky her. Since a) we sent a note to the teacher about her vacation weeks in advance, b) I even told the bus driver and c) the first day she was out the school called me and I told them she was on vacation ("We sent a note to the teacher weeks ago. How many notes do I need to send?")... I don't see why we'd get a letter about "unexcused abscences", even if it's some sort of form letter. Plus, 3 of the days were half days, since they were parent/teacher conference days. Anyways.

We went out for Japanese the other night, was yummy. The place we go to has those private rooms, with pillows and you don't wear shoes. We always sit in there. It's nice.

Suzy's friend got a Kirby yesterday. Made me re-think about getting one (on eBay, not new like her). I used to sell those things (ages ago), and really do like them. My vacuum is pretty new, so not sure I could justify getting another one right now. Although, I know the Kirby would clean deeper in the carpet, and have a shampoo attachment.

Still thinking about a new TV. Still not sure if we'll do a mountable or non-mountable (projection LCD or DLP). If I do mountable, I think it would be the Aquos, since as far as I know Sharp is the only brand which the lamp is replacable, and not attached. I'm not into disposable TVs.

One of my Silver Dollar fish died. And my Pleca (a few weeks ago). I need to get new ones. Not sure if I'll get another Silver Dollar, or a red bellied Pacu.

The TV show Lost is finally getting more interesting.

I saw that there will be a "Simple Life 3". Aren't we done with these two rich, self-absorbed morons yet?

Powell resigned, and Bush wanted it done now (instead of in a few months) so he could appoint his lap-dog Condi Rice lickity-split. I'd like to see Colon and James Earl Jones do some "buddy" movie together.

I need to run to Stewert's and get some milk...
