Made some more progress this weekend around here.

* Suzy painted the upstairs hallway walls. The ceiling above the stairway is about 25 feet, so we didn't paint that yet. Need to figure out how to do that area, then paint the ceiling too.

* I installed a new fan in the master bedroom. Of course, with remote. Got a cool remote which keeps the temperature, allows you to set different things. Of course, the fan will either be on high or off... but I like the LCD screen.

* Raked the hay off of the front lawn.

* Mowed the front lawn and weed whacked where needed. It's filling in nicely, but still has some areas which need work. Mainly where there is rain runoff.

* We took our dresser (it's a $1000 dresser) which we had in the garage and put it in the dining room.. without the mirror. It looks good in there... sort of like a buffet or whatever it's called. Also provides some good storage. You'd never know it's a dresser. Also moved the table from North/South to East/West. Really looks good in there now.

* Put some grass seed in the back. I maybe raked 1/4 of the back yard before I was too tired to do more! So, put down a bag of seed and all the hay. Hooked up a new sprinkler and watered it. I'll see how it does in a week or so, then do another 1/4 of the yard. I'll wait for the rest until the deck is up. No need to seed when builders will be walking all over it.

* Some other small stuff.. organizing and whatnot.

The house is coming more and more together. Now that the dresser is out of the garage, I can finish organizing in there. The only full room to do anything with now is the guest room. Need to paint the 3 bathrooms and finish the upstairs hallway. Get some new light fixtures and stuff like that. But, I'm happy with the progress.
