This Tuesday at 9pm, "Rides" on TLC will show the making of the "IS430". A stock IS300 with a V8 dropped into it. Rod Millen does this transformation, which was/is actually being used as the prototype for the IS430 (which we've heard about for years now).
Posted by Kevin at January 31, 2004 01:56 PMI'll watch it. Hey Kev, what college did you go to?
Posted by: MySlowGrandCherokee on February 3, 2004 02:38 PMI went to Nova University, Souther Conn. State Univ., and did a brief grad school stint at UCONN.
Posted by: Kevin on February 3, 2004 03:00 PMVillanova? I'd still rather have a GS430 than an IS430.
Posted by: MySlowGrandCherokee on February 4, 2004 02:03 PMNot me. I like the GS, but like the IS better.
Posted by: Kevin on February 4, 2004 02:33 PMI liked the show, BTW. Not only did the IS turn out great, I liked the stuff they were doing with the shocks in the custom Hummer. Hardens when magnatized.. pretty cool.
