I'm happy the sniper was caught. But, now all the news reports speak about how law enforcements hard work got them. I disagree. Law enforcement let 10 people die, and more get shot. The only reason they were caught was because of tipsters. One saying to look at a shooting in Alabama (which law enforcement obviously didn't solve that case), and calls by people who actually saw the suspects in the car in a rest area. What did law enforcement do? They scoured the areas, made everyone in a white truck a suspect and.... hmmm... had press conferences.
I say way to go citizens! Citizens are the real heros here. If people didn't step up and call the tip line, Moose would still be talking about ducks, and people would still be being shot. Sure, the police had some leads, had some evidence (not seemingly tied to anyone), but seems to me that normal people should get the kudos on this one.
